Brent Nelson is the founder and owner of Black Rock Builders. He is a passionate commercial contractor with decades of experience in all aspects of building, real estate, and construction management. Before founding Black Rock Builders, Brent was a professional realtor for over thirteen years. He was also a construction project manager for a private firm for over a decade. Both professions were stepping stones that gave him unique experience in understanding city zoning, property values, and the needs of each construction phase. They equipped him with the knowledge he needed to eventually lead his own team of commercial contractors and builders.
In 2021, Brent began a new life chapter as the founder and owner of Black Rock Builders, a building company responsible for residential and commercial construction throughout Salt Lake City and beyond. Since its inception, Brent and his team of skilled Salt Lake commercial contractors have built large-scale projects across Utah.
Black Rock has built or updated commercial and residential properties for nationwide companies and local entities. Some of its clients include Baskin Robbins, CORE Architects, Express Chicken, and others. The Black Rock commercial builder team has established a reputation for punctuality, honesty, quality, and personability.
